Your new company A highly regarded, specialist claimant law firm with a strong national reputation is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its expanding Clinical Negligence team. The firm is known for its client-centric approach and expertise in complex, high-value medical negligence claims, offering a collaborative and progressive working environment.Your new role You will take a senior position within a well-established clinical negligence team, managing a caseload of complex, high-value claimant matters while supporting the wider growth of the department.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a caseload of multi-track clinical negligence claims from inception through to settlement or trialHandling complex matters including birth injury, brain injury, surgical error and delayed diagnosis claimsDrafting detailed pleadings, witness statements and schedules of lossInstructing and liaising with medical experts and counselConducting liability and quantum investigationsNegotiating settlements in high-value casesSupporting and mentoring junior fee earnersContributing to business development activity and maintaining strong client relationshipsWhat you''ll need to succeed Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (typically 6+ PQE, although applications from experienced candidates outside this range are welcomed)Proven experience in claimant clinical negligence workStrong technical ability across complex, high-value claimsExperience managing files independently and ..... full job details .....
