Clinical Lead / GP with a Special Interest in Addiction

to join our dedicated team at the

Southend-on-Sea Community Addictions Service . This is a

full-time, community-based leadership role , ideal for a dynamic clinician with a passion for substance misuse services and a recovery-focused approach to care.About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the quality of addiction treatment services across the Essex region. You will work closely with the

Southend-on-Sea Operations Manager

and a skilled

multi-disciplinary team , contributing to:Clinical service development and improvementDelivering high-quality, evidence-based addiction treatmentSupporting clients through their recovery journeyProviding clinical leadership and guidanceRunning clinical sessions across the countyParticipating in audits, quality assurance, and service performance monitoringCandidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who meets

one or more

of the following criteria:On the

Specialist Register of the Royal College of Psychiatrists

with an endorsement in Substance MisuseA

Consultant Addiction PsychiatristA

General Practitioner (GP) with a Special Interest in AddictionA

Specialist Addiction Doctor

with a

minimum of 7 years'' experience

in the fieldOther relevant experience in addiction medicine may also be consideredWhat We Offer
