What You''ll Be Doing
- As a Clinical Health Technician, you''ll be at the heart of our Occupational Health service, supporting the delivery of essential health assessments and clinical programmes.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight, and respiratory rate.
- Supporting Occupational Health clinicians with assessments, medicals, and health surveillance programmes.
- Performing routine clinical procedures such as ECGs, blood glucose monitoring, and phlebotomy (where trained).
- Assisting with audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and other occupational health assessments.
- Preparing equipment, clinics, and testing environments to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Providing a positive, professional, and supportive experience for employees attending appointments.
- Supporting health promotion and wellbeing initiatives across company sites.
What We''re Looking For
We''re interested in individuals who are passionate about healthcare, enjoy working with people, and take pride in delivering excellent patient care.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience within a healthcare, clinical, care, or occupational health environment.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across West and South Yorkshire.
Desirable Skills
- Phlebotomy experience or qualification.
- Experience using clinical or healthcare IT systems.
- Previous Occupational Health experience.
- Audiometry, Spirometry, or Health Surveillance experience.
