Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinic Clerk to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and office experience, with a commitment to supporting efficient clinic operations. As a Clinic Clerk, you will be responsible for managing patient records, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Duties

• Greet patients and visitors professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using clinic management systems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Answer phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members and providing information as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry to support clinic operations.
• Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure timely care delivery.
• Ensure the clinic environment remains organised, clean, and welcoming for all visitors.

Experience

• Prior office or administrative experience is essential for success in this role.
• Experience working within a healthcare setting or medical environment-
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent programs.
