The role requires consistency, organisation, and strong cooking skills to ensure dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of your designated kitchen sectionPrepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and standardsAssist with menu preparation and daily specialsEnsure all food is prepared in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP)Monitor stock levels and minimise food wasteTrain and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen AssistantsMaintain cleanliness and organisation within your sectionWork closely with Sous and Head Chefs to ensure smooth serviceAssist with deliveries and stock rotation (FIFO)Skills and Experience RequiredProven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progressGood knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and consistencyTeam player with good communication skillsNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (desirable)Food Hygiene Level 2 (required)Personal AttributesPassion for food and fresh ingredientsReliable, organised, and punctualWillingness to learn and develop skillsFlexible approach to working hours (including weekends and evenings) Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people. ..... full job details .....
