Client Reporting Accountant, (Pension)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Client Reporting Accountant to join a highly experienced team supporting over 200 pension clients across the UK. As a Client Reporting Accountant, you will be joining a team of over 30 accountancy professionals responsible for delivering pension accounting services to a wide range of clients. You will manage your own client portfolio, acting as a dedicated Pension Accountant and building strong relationships with clients, auditors and professional advisers. What you''ll be doing: Prepare pension scheme financial statements and annual reports in accordance with legislation and industry best practice. Work closely with clients, auditors and professional advisers to deliver accounts and reports within agreed timescales. Facilitate pension scheme audits and manage audit requirements through to completion. Prepare periodic financial reports and management information for clients. Process accounting transactions and complete account reconciliations. Authorise payments in accordance with client mandates and company procedures. Prepare quarterly tax accounting information for submission to HMRC and complete ONS returns. Act as the dedicated Pension Accountant for your client portfolio and build strong working relationships.
