Client Project Manager/ Project Officer - Outside IR35

Our client is seeking a Client Project Manager / Project Officer to support the delivery of highways, transport, public realm and infrastructure projects within an Engineering Services consultancy function. This contract role is based from the Winchester offices, with hybrid working, regular meetings and occasional visits to live project sites.Key Responsibilities:Lead the project management of engineering design and construction commissions through development, design, procurement and implementation stagesAct as project lead for multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors delivering highways, transport, public realm and infrastructure projectsDevelop and maintain project programmes, delivery plans, budgets, risk registers and governance documentationPrepare project dashboards, reports and briefing materials to support governance, approvals and effective decision-makingManage project resources, budgets and financial performance in line with approved funding allocationsIdentify, manage and report project risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities, implementing mitigation measures where requiredCoordinate a portfolio of commissions, managing priorities, project teams and delivery partners to meet demanding timescalesSupport project management best practice, governance processes and capability development by mentoring Project Officers and other colleaguesJob Requirements:Degree-level qualification, or equivalent experience, in Project Management, Engineering, ..... full job details .....
