The Non-Investment Grade Fixed Income Client Portfolio Specialist serves as a key link between the firm’s Non-Investment Grade Investment team and its clients, acting as a subject matter expert in Non-Investment Grade fixed income (Bonds, Loans, and CLOs). This role requires deep technical expertise in fixed income markets and strong client-facing skills to communicate investment processes, performance, and market insights. The candidate should have relevant experience in managing client relationships and supporting portfolio management in a fast-paced asset management environment.The position reports to the Global Head of Fixed Income Client Portfolio Management.Primary Responsibilities:Promote Neuberger Berman’s Fixed Income strategies, especially Non-Investment Grade credit (Bonds, Loans, CLOs), both internally and externally.Collaborate with client coverage teams to develop and refine fixed income strategies, identify new business opportunities, and assist in pitching solutions.Conduct investment reviews, consultant meetings, and client presentations.Coordinate with Marketing, Product Development, Performance Analytics, and Legal and Compliance to develop marketing materials and new campaign ideas.Work with the RFP Department to prepare accurate responses and craft new product language.Contribute to market commentary, white papers, and client materials to demonstrate thought leadership.Translate complex fixed income strategies into understandable insights for clients and stakeholders.Strategically position the firm’s Non-Investment Grade Credit platform through market analysis and new product ideas.Support the wider Fixed Income platform in collaboration with the CPM team.Skills and Experience:Over 10 years of experience in a similar role.Expertise in Non-Investment Grade credit products, especially HY Bonds, Loans, and CLOs.Proven experience as a Product Specialist or in Client Portfolio Management within Asset Management.Strong presentation skills and industry knowledge.Excellent communication skills, possibly multilingual.Willingness to travel.Neuberger Berman is an equal opportunity employer.
