Client Manager / Senior Accountant - Accountancy Practice

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Manager / Senior Accountant to join a well-established accountancy firm providing accounting, tax, payroll, bookkeeping, and business advisory services for small businesses, contractors, landlords, and individuals.As a Client Manager / Senior Accountant, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, deliver accountancy and tax services, and provide practical business support while maintaining high standards of client care.This is a full-time permanent role office-based only offering a salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 and benefits. No sponsorship provided.You will be responsible for:Manage a portfolio of limited company, partnership and sole trader clientsAct as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and long-term relationshipsProvide accounting, tax and general business support to clientsPrepare and review annual accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns and personal tax returnsSupport clients with cloud accounting software, including Xero and FreeAgentManage deadlines and workflow across the client portfolio, ensuring work is completed accurately and on timeSupport and review the work of junior team members where requiredAssist with ad hoc projects and contribute to improvements in internal processesWhat we are looking for:Previously worked as a Client manager, Practice Accountant, Senior Accountant, Client Accountant, Accounts Manager, Accounts Senior or in a similar role.Have recent accountancy practice ..... full job details .....
