The role combines client relationship management, management reporting and advisory work, supported by cutting-edge AI technology designed to automate much of the routine accounting process. The OpportunityOur client supports founder-led businesses across the UK, typically between 1m and 10m turnover, providing outsourced finance functions, management reporting, forecasting and CFO-level advice. Unlike many accountancy practices, portfolios are intentionally smaller, allowing you to spend more time working with clients and delivering insights, rather than preparing accounts. As Client Manager, you will:Manage a portfolio of growing SME clients as their primary point of contact.Build trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams.Review work prepared by an offshore team and ensure the highest quality standards.Deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts and business performance reports.Guide clients through their financial results and provide commercial insight.Support CFOs on strategic projects including forecasting, fundraising and exit planning.
