Client Manager

My client, a growing and ambitious accountancy practice, is looking to appoint an experienced Client Manager to join their team and take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a high level of service and delivering commercial accountancy and tax advice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing a portfolio and supporting the continued growth of a successful firm. The Role: • Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, acting as a trusted advisor • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and providing proactive advice • Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax returns and other compliance work • Providing corporate and personal tax advisory support where required • Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients with their business goals • Managing client deadlines, workflow, WIP, recoverability and billing • Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team and providing guidance where required • Supporting the development and mentoring of junior staff • Working collaboratively with partners and senior managers to deliver an excellent client experience • Utilising technology and improving processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery The Ideal Candidate: • ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) • 5+ years'' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment • Strong experience ..... full job details .....
