Client Manager - Accountancy Practice
Our client is an established independent accountancy practice with a strong regional presence and a growing SME client base. The firm has built a reputation for long-term client relationships, practical advice and a supportive internal culture, and continues to invest in its people as the practice expands. This is a permanent Manager level role, sitting between the senior leadership team and the wider client-facing staff. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on onboarding and managing new business, while also providing day-to-day leadership and oversight within the team.Key responsibilities:Managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and professional clientsActing as the main point of contact for new client wins, overseeing onboarding and early relationship managementReviewing accounts, tax computations and advisory work prepared by the teamProviding technical guidance and support to junior and senior staffManaging workflows, deadlines and client expectations across the portfolioSupporting partners with practice growth initiatives and service developmentIdentifying opportunities to add value and expand services within existing relationshipsContributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and standardsCandidate profile:ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong practice backgroundProven experience operating at Manager or similar level within an accountancy firmDemonstrable people ..... full job details .....
