About the Business Division:This role is part of ONEHealth Communications, a subsidiary of M3 Inc., which is a specialist Healthcare Communications agency working in partnership with our clients to deliver end-to-end marketing services across three key areas: Media Buying, Creative and Content, and Email. The team currently employs 32 staff members, supported by Data4NHS, which provides one of the largest GDPR-compliant email databases of Healthcare Professionals (HCP) in the UK.
OverviewJob DescriptionThis is a new role within the existing Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director. Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to sourcing and establishing contact with new businesses and brands where ONEHealth currently has no presence, to promote our range of services. The remaining 30% will involve managing a small portfolio of existing accounts, leading on all commercial aspects, including annual tactical planning, conducting regular TEAMs and face-to-face meetings with Media and Account Management leads, and maximizing opportunities for both ONEHealth and our clients.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business sectors and monitor competitors closely. Understand their needs and how ONEHealth can assist.
Exhibit high commercial acumen by identifying client needs and aligning our services accordingly.
Generate proposals by seeking new business opportunities in white space pharma clients and existing accounts, collaborating with the team on proposal writing.
Lead generation through platforms such as LinkedIn, industry events, and shows to develop and manage new leads.
Negotiate and close deals effectively, focusing on strong business closing skills.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts regularly.
QualificationsIdeal Candidate
Over 5 years of commercial experience in healthcare marketing agencies or pharmaceutical companies, delivering multi-channel digital communication solutions.
Existing network within the pharma/healthcare market.
Confidence in presenting ONEHealth’s offerings to new and existing clients.
Ability to generate face-to-face meetings with clients.
Proactive, driven, and eager for commercial success.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong customer relationship skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Demonstrates a consultative, needs-based sales approach with rapport-building skills.
Working knowledge of the ABPI code of conduct.
