Clerk of WorksA respected construction consultancy is seeking a driven, field-based Clerk of Works to join their team to cover projects across Bristol up to Birmingham.The Clerk of Works RoleThe successful Clerk of Works will be responsible for inspecting workmanship, quality and safety across a varied portfolio of construction projects.Working closely with surveyors, project teams, aftercare colleagues and clients, the Clerk of Works will provide clear and accurate reporting throughout the construction process.Responsibilities will include:Reporting back on MandE installation, quality assurance and workmanship to the aftercare team and surveyors.Attending initial and recurring project meetings with clients and the wider project teamCarrying out regular site inspections across projects throughout the MidlandsEnsuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and required quality standardsInspecting workmanship, materials, installations and site qualityCompleting and distributing site inspection reports, progress reports and quality control documentationProviding clear photographic records of progress and defectsAttending site meetings and delivering verbal updates to clients and project teamsIdentifying defects, non-compliance and areas requiring corrective actionAssisting with snagging and de-snagging inspectionsSupporting project handover proceduresMaintaining professional communication with clients, contractors and colleaguesThe Clerk of WorksThe ..... full job details .....
