Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor Shrewsbury, Shropshire Major Healthcare Project Construction Consultancy A leading independent construction and property consultancy is looking for an experienced Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor to join its team in Shrewsbury, working on a significant hospital development. This is an excellent opportunity for a Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor to play an important role in the delivery of a large-scale healthcare project, providing an on-site presence and ensuring works are completed in accordance with the contract, drawings, specifications and required quality standards. The Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor Role The successful clerk will be responsible for monitoring the quality and progress of construction works on site, identifying defects or non-compliant works and ensuring these are appropriately recorded and addressed. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out regular site inspections throughout the construction programme Monitoring workmanship, materials and construction quality Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements Undertaking duties associated with the NEC Supervisor role Identifying and recording defects, non-compliance and areas of concern Producing clear and detailed inspection reports Maintaining accurate photographic and written site records Monitoring progress against the agreed construction programme Attending project, progress and site meetings Liaising with contractors, ..... full job details .....
