Clerk Of Works

We are currently looking for a Clerk of Works. You will be working in Sutton Monday - Friday 36 hours per week Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - 36.04ph paye or 45.45ph umbrella Job Purpose Reporting to the Major Works Programme Manager, you will work with a team responsible for providing a Quality Assurance/Clerk of Works service in connection with Partnerships programme of capital and cyclical works. Provide a Quality Assurance/Clerk of Work service across the full range of work undertaken Agree joint quality control procedures with the constructor/contractor in accordance with requirements and audit such procedures and records to ensure that quality control inspections are effective and efficient. Maintain a critical but constructive relationship with the contractor''s supervisory staff. Examine specifications and drawings and ensure that any aspects which are not satisfactory are rectified. Carry out site visits at least weekly, to all sites to ensure that materials, construction standards and site practices meet requirements, and prepare a Health and Safety report.
