Job Title: Clinic Support Officer Location: Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Hours: Monday Friday 08:00-16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00 Trust Location: Weston Park Hospital Whitham Road, Sheffield, S10 2SJ Contract: Temporary for 3 months Reference 91403 What you ll be responsible for: Provide the highest levels of Customer Service to patients, colleagues and external partners at all times. To support and provide cover for colleagues as directed. Monitor waiting lists of patients ensuring they are booked into clinics in a timely manner, smoothing peaks and trough in demand through good forward planning of capacity. Receive, scan and register all appropriate routine and urgent paper referrals and inter provider transfers into STH, ensuring the minimum inter provider transfers dataset is provided. Resolve appointment slot issues by allocating patients to capacity made available by directorates. Monitor and book patients from access plans in line with priority order highlighting shortages of capacity to the Team leader. You ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: 1.
