Cleaning Team Leader

37.5 hours P/W TEMP - PERM Ongoing We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Team Leader / Supervisor to oversee and support a team of cleaning staff. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage day-to-day cleaning operations efficiently. The role also involves administrative responsibilities, including audits, stock control, and record-keeping. You will Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across all designated areas. Lead by example with hands-on cleaning duties as required. Ensure high cleaning standards are consistently achieved and maintained. Conduct regular cleaning audits and site inspections; record and report findings. Manage staff rotas, timekeeping, and attendance. Provide training and support to cleaning team members on procedures and use of cleaning machinery. Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensure all cleaning machinery is used, maintained, and stored safely. Assist with onboarding of new staff and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and COSHH regulations. Liaise with the Facilities / Cleaning Manager regarding operational issues, staffing, and improvements.
