About the Role
Based at Aunk, the Cleaning Supervisor, Lates role offers £14.57 per hour on a full-time contract. Working Monday to Thursday, 16:30 until 03:30, the post-holder oversees a team of cleaners across production areas, offices and communal spaces. Duties include allocating tasks, carrying out regular checks to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards, sweeping, mopping and sanitising work areas, emptying bins and disposing of waste safely. Monitoring and restocking supplies also forms part of the position. The Role:
- Supervising and supporting a team of cleaners across the site
- Ensuring production areas, offices and communal spaces are cleaned to a high standard
- Allocating cleaning duties and ensuring tasks are completed effectively
- Carrying out regular checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Sweeping, mopping and sanitising work areas
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of safely
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies where required
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained
- Supporting the team with cleaning duties when required
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Reporting any issues or maintenance requirements to the appropriate person
- Previous cleaning experience is essential, ideally with some supervisory or team-leading experience
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Confident supervising and supporting a small team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
