CJS Recruitment are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a team of cleaners responsible for end of tenancy deep cleans at Army barracks. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization and professionalism across all areas being serviced. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to deliver thorough end of tenancy cleans to military accommodation standards.

Conduct site inspections before, during and after cleaning to ensure all work is completed to required quality levels and meets contractual obligations.

Develop daily work schedules and assign cleaning tasks based on project timelines and resource availability.

Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in accordance with health and safety protocols, COSHH regulations, and site-specific guidelines.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as required.

Train new and existing staff in cleaning procedures, safe equipment use, and military site protocols.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, work completed, equipment used, and incidents.

Act as the main point of contact for site queries and liaise with military representatives and management as needed.

Ensure all cleaners follow correct uniform and ID requirements for access to military sites.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor.

Experience with end of tenancy or deep cleans.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety regulations.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to pass security clearance checks as required for access to military premises.
