Location: Park Road, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1DE Salary: £10,984 based on working 17.5 hours a week (0.3692 FTE) Job Type: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 05:30 - 09:00 am About Us: The Foundation comprises two schools: Abingdon School and Abingdon Prep School, as well as Abingdon School Enterprises. Abingdon School is a leading independent day and boarding school with more than 1,000 pupils aged 11-18. Currently a boys'' school, it will become co-educational from September 2026. Cleaning Supervisor - The Role: You will supervise a team of cleaning staff across a designated area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school. You will manage cleaning schedules, provide feedback to staff, report on incidents and absences, and coordinate cover arrangements for holidays and special events. Your day-to-day work includes cleaning school areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, teaching areas and communal spaces using various equipment and products, alongside supervisory duties such as staff guidance, training needs identification and stock control.
