Cleaning Operative

The main purpose of the job is to maintain a safe and clean environment. 1. The Role: General cleaning of areas at our Day Service premises; some heavy lifting will be involved. Specialised cleaning of areas such as computer rooms, toilets, kitchens 2. In General: Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the areas allocated for cleaning Reporting to the Facilities Manager any incident or accident Reporting to the Facilities Manager any cleaning products and equipment required Reporting to Facilities Manager any maintenance requirements such as light bulb replacements, leaking wash basins etc. Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required within the level of the post The post holder will be required on occasions to attend training courses as specified The post holder will be required to wear protective clothing provided by the Tower Project The post holder will only use the equipment and materials provided by the Tower Project Responsibilities Caretaking cleaning of allocated areas and secondary cleaning The vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying all waste bins Cleaning the glass and mirrors Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces in kitchen and hall Cleaning the bathrooms and toilets Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues and visitors to the building at all time Carry out emergency cleaning as required as the result of accident, sickness, etc. Washing internal walls e.g. corridors/stairways Monitoring the standards of ..... full job details .....
