Cleaner with DBS

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Education environment, Canterbury

Essential requirement: Previous professional cleaning experience and a valid DBS

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas, ensuring the site is clean, hygienic and ready for use each day.

• Vacuum classrooms, corridors and other designated areas.
• Clean and sanitise desks, tables and other surfaces.
• Pay particular attention to high-touch areas and shared spaces.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Follow relevant cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements and site instructions.

The successful candidate will be:

• Dependable, punctual and committed to delivering a high standard of work.
• Comfortable working independently and able to follow cleaning procedures and instructions.
• Experienced in professional cleaning, ideally within a similar environment.
• Able to demonstrate a professional and responsible approach when working in an education setting.

Please note: To be considered for this vacancy, you must hold a valid DBS certificate.
