Cleaner

JOB DESCRIPTIONWe have a new opportunity for a part time Cleaner at our Extra Care Scheme, Castle Ham Lodge in Okehampton. As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents. Working as part of a supportive team, you will ensure that all communal areas and offices are consistently kept to a high standard. This role also calls for a sensitive and respectful approach when working within a community of older and potentially vulnerable residents. Hours of work: This is a part-time, permanent position offering 7 hours per week. One working day is fixed (Wednesday) The second day is flexible, to be agreed between Monday and Friday Hours will be worked between 8am and 4pm. Key responsibilities: To work as part of a team to ensure that communal areas and offices are clean and tidy To maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored securely according to COSHH guidelines To wash paintwork and clean windows and doors as required Following and promoting policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
