Cleaner

RGSS''s client, a leading maintenance provider, are looking for a reliable, "Cleaners" to join their team across East Lothian and the surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for Cleaning works in schools.

• Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, communal areas and other designated spaces.

• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.

• Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures and high-touch areas.

• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.

• Follow health and safety, COSHH and site cleaning procedures.

• Report any maintenance issues, hazards or damaged equipment to the supervisor.

• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.

• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the required standard.

• Work independently and as part of a cleaning team when required.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not always essential.

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

• Reliable, punctual and professional.

• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety procedures.

• Good communication skills.
