Cleaner Location: Wyre Primary School Job Type: Part-time, Temporary Hours: 15:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Duration: Immediate start until mid-January Pay: Competitive hourly rate We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a friendly school environment on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Day-to-day of the role: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas. Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately. Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels. Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly. Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person. Following school cleaning schedules and procedures at all times. Required Skills and Qualifications: Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times. Understanding of health and safety practices within a cleaning environment.
