About the Role
Pertemps is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the team at the Royal Mail Midlands Super Hub in Northampton. This temporary position pays £14.30 per hour and involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across operational zones, including sorting floors, offices, rest areas, and toilets. Duties include following COSHH and Health & Safety protocols, completing routine checklists, and reporting site needs. You will work both independently and as part of a team across large, busy spaces. While previous cleaning experience is preferred, full training is provided. A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential.

Your Role
- Clean operational areas including sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets, and offices.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in high-traffic environments.
- Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete routine cleaning checklists and report site needs.
- Work as part of a cleaning team or independently across large areas.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential training to be provided on site for the right candidate.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Reliability and good timekeeping.
Other Information:
- Working Hours: 09:00-17:00 or 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday or Wednesday-Sunday 08:00-16:00.
- Pay Rate: £14.30
