You''ll help keep council buildings clean, safe and welcoming for staff and visitors. What you''ll be doing:General daily cleaning of offices, corridors and other areasWashing and polishing fixtures and fittingsSweeping, mopping and polishing floors and stairs, and vacuuming carpetsUsing powered cleaning equipment such as floor polishersDaily cleaning of toiletsHelping at council functions when needed, including cloakroom and kitchen dutiesWhat you''ll need:Experience of cleaning, including using cleaning equipmentExperience of using and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, in line with health and safety rulesGood customer care and people skillsThe ability to work on your own and as part of a teamA reliable, hardworking approach What''s on offer: 13.45 per hour, paid weeklyPart-time hoursHoliday pay accrued in line with statutory entitlementPension auto-enrolment (subject to eligibility)The chance to work with one of Northern Ireland''s largest public sector employersYou must be eligible to work in the UK.
