About the Role

Manpower UK is seeking a Cleaner for a permanent position based in Heanor. This role operates Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm, offering up to £13.00 per hour. Duties involve performing routine and deep cleaning of production plant machinery, floors, walls, and associated equipment according to site hygiene protocols. You will ensure all equipment is thoroughly prepared for production schedules, minimising delays. Safe handling of cleaning chemicals under COSHH regulations is essential, alongside maintaining accurate records. Identifying and promptly reporting equipment damage, leaks, or irregularities to supervisors or maintenance teams is required to uphold workplace safety.

Manpower are currently looking for a Cleaner for our client based in Heanor - Derbyshire
hours of work are 6am - 3pm Monday to Friday £13.00 per hour
Duties include

Carry out routine and deep cleaning of production plant, machinery, floors, walls, and associated equipment in line with site hygiene and safety procedures
Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and ready for use in accordance with the production schedule, minimising downtime and supporting efficient operations
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly in full compliance with COSHH guidelines, maintaining accurate cleaning records and documentation at all times
Identify and promptly report any equipment damage, leaks, or abnormalities to the supervisor or maintenance team to ensure a safe working environment
Support waste disposal, housekeeping activities, and preparation of areas for maintenance, including basic isolation tasks once fully trained
Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to continuously identify opportunities to improve cleaning standards, processes, and overall site hygiene
