Cleaner Location: Kingston, KT1 2EE Salary: £26,720 per annum + Excellent Benefits! Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 00 (37 hours per week) KUSCO (Kingston University Service Company Ltd) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Kingston University, established in December 1997. We are a non-profit making organisation providing facility management services to Kingston University. We are looking for a reliable, motivated Day Cleaner to join our Campus Services team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, welcoming environments and enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team. As a Day Cleaner, you ll work in a variety of university spaces including offices, classrooms, laboratories, lecture theatres, and communal areas helping us deliver consistently high cleaning standards for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Clean and tidy assigned areas across the campus to meet agreed service levels Carry out daily waste removal Support periodic deep-cleaning and floor-polishing tasks when required Maintain clean and organised storage and equipment areas Take responsibility for issued keys and develop knowledge of allocated workspaces Report supply needs, defects, safety concerns, and maintenance issues Follow training and health and safety procedures, including safe equipment use Please note: duties may occasionally vary, and flexibility is required.
