      <description>Location: City | Salary: 13.45-13.45 Hourly | Type: Contract | Overview Experienced cleaning operatives required to work across a number of Sheffield City Council sites across the city. Responsibilities  To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the area/sites allocated. To use the appropriate equipment and materials to ensure the job is done effectively in line with safe systems of work, risk assessments and manufacturers guidance. Cleaning duties will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, scrubbing, sanitising, shampooing, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting of designated areas as required by the site or service. Clearing tables of food waste and crockery in food halls To clean public spaces and meeting rooms, loading and unloading dishwashers and or pot washing small volumes and storing within a designated location.  Hours and Pay  Contracted hours: 37hrs per week, working 5 days out of 7 as per service demands. Successful candidates will be inform of their working duties and hours one week in advance, but some flexibility is required to cover for absence at short notice.
