HRGO Recruitment seeking a reliable and dedicated School Cleaner to join our clients team. The successful candidate must have a DBS and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The School Cleaner will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas of the school as assigned
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Clean and sanitise restrooms
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and other areas
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• DBS required (or subject to clearance)
• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects occasionally
