Pay rate: £12.21 per hour


Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day

 

Main Duties:

• Ensure all gym areas, including workout zones, reception, changing rooms, showers, and toilets, are kept clean, hygienic, and welcoming for members and visitors.
• Carry out regular cleaning tasks such as dusting equipment, wiping down surfaces, and vacuuming or mopping floors to maintain a tidy and safe environment.
• Empty bins and sanitary units promptly, ensuring all waste is disposed of according to health and safety and site procedures.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, showers, and changing areas thoroughly, with a strong focus on hygiene and attention to detail.
• Follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
•  Support the wider team by carrying out additional cleaning tasks as needed, showing flexibility and a proactive attitude.

• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
• Good time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, and how to use them safely and effectively.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills, especially when interacting with residents, colleagues, or visitors.
