CLEANER

We are currently seeking dedicated Deep Cleaners to join our team in student accommodation located in Bournemouth. The role is short-term but vital in preparing residences for the academic year. Ideal candidates will take pride in cleanliness, work well both independently and within a team, and be able to handle the physical demands of deep cleaning tasks.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors , corridors, offices, and other common areas.
• Cleaning desks, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Cleaning windows, doors, and mirrors.
• Clean inside and out of fridges, freezers, microwaves, ovens, and other kitchen appliances.
• Emptying and cleaning trash bins.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Restocking restroom supplies like soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer.
• Collect and dispose of trash and hazardous waste

Bathroom Cleaning:

• Descale and disinfect sinks, toilets, and showers.
• Restock consumables such as toilet paper and soap.

Kitchen Cleaning:

• Deep clean sinks, worktops, cupboards (inside and out), taps, and tiles.

Laundry and Linen Duties:

• Strip and replace bedding.
• Assist with basic laundry tasks (washing, drying, folding).

Safety and Security:

• Reporting any hazards or defects to the appropriate supervisor or caretaker.

• Following health and safety regulations and procedures for cleaning equipment and chemicals..
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and properly.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• Report maintenance and repair issues as needed.

Teamwork and Independence:

• Able to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Contribute positively to a team-focused environment.
