About the Role
The Cleaner role based in Kendal involves maintaining high hygiene standards across healthcare and commercial environments. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, cleaning washrooms and communal spaces, and emptying bins. Adherence to site-specific cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines is essential to ensure all areas meet professional standards. This temporary position offers work from 30th June to 2nd September 2026, with typical shifts between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Weekly pay is provided at £12.71 per hour, with holiday pay accrued. While ongoing work is available across Kendal and the wider Cumbria area, shifts are not guaranteed.

Pay Rate

Shift Information

- Shifts are available throughout the week; however, work is not guaranteed every day and schedules may vary based on client requirements

What We''re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Standard DBS certificate required
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards is advantageous
