Cleaner - Band 2 Location: Derry/Londonderry Duration: Temporary - 3 months Salary: Band 2 Working Pattern: Shift pattern Access NI: Required Application Deadline: 12:00pm on Monday 7th September 2026. Apple Recruitment Services are currently seeking a Band 2 Cleaner to work within a residential setting in the Children with Disabilities service. This is a temporary opportunity for an initial 3-month period, offering the opportunity to work within a residential care environment supporting the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the service. Duties will include: Carrying out general domestic and cleaning duties throughout the residential unit. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas. Cleaning communal areas and other areas as required. Following relevant health and safety, infection prevention and control procedures. Using cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately. Ensuring cleaning duties are completed to the required standard. Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or cleaning issues to the appropriate manager. Working in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Carrying out any other duties appropriate to the role as required. Essential Criteria Experience working in a Domestic or Catering role within a work environment. An understanding of the importance of health and safety and food hygiene standards.
