About the Role
Manpower UK seeks a Cleaner for a school in Leicester, LE5, working 15–20 hours weekly. This part-time role involves maintaining classrooms, washrooms, corridors, and offices through daily sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Duties include emptying bins, restocking soap and paper supplies, and following safety protocols for chemical use. You will also inspect equipment and report faults. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 15:15–18:15, paying £12.21–£12.71 hourly. Candidates must possess an Enhanced DBS with Child Barring or be registered on the Update Service. Prior cleaning experience helps, though reliability and attention to detail matter most.
Manpower are recruiting a School Cleaner for our client in Leicester - LE5 location.
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with school policies.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in bathrooms.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
Must have an Enhanced DBS with Childs Barring or be on the update service
£12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday, 15.15 - 18.15
