      <description>Location: Leicester | Salary: &amp;pound;45 - &amp;pound;50/hour | Type: Contract | verview   We''re looking for an experienced Clean Water Process Design Engineer to provide process design input across clean water treatment works and associated assets. The focus is on producing high-quality design outputs, supporting project teams through design and delivery decisions, and attending site when needed to validate assumptions and support readiness/commissioning.   What you''ll be doing    Leading and delivering process design packages for clean water treatment works (new build, upgrades, optimisation).  Developing and checking process calculations and selections, such as mass balances, treatment sizing, chemical dosing basis, contact time, filtration parameters, backwash strategies, disinfection approach, residuals interfaces, and operational envelopes.  Producing and reviewing core process design deliverables, typically including Design Basis / Basis of Design, process calculations, PFDs, process descriptions, process narratives, and inputs to control philosophy.
