Job Title: Learning Support AssistantLocation: Stockton-On-TeesContract Type: Long termLeader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Middlesbrough.This outstanding school caters to pupils aged 4 to 11 with a range of learning difficulties, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children with additional needs and have

relevant experience or transferable skills .The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 15:30 and is a long-term position. Leader Education are dedicated to ensuring that we find adaptable roles and schedules that work effectively for you.Responsibilities

Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain oneExperience working with children with SEND or vulnerable individuals/relevant experienceWork effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best supportBe confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activitiesPossess communication skills that can be personalised to suit studentsBenefits
