An excellent Secondary School in the heart of Islington is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Classroom Supervisor to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only post that begins via agency contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Classroom Supervisor - Secondary

• Deliver lessons in the absence of teaching staff across KS3, KS4 or KS5
• Support pupils in accessing and engaging with set work, providing guidance with literacy, numeracy, and organisation as needed
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil behaviour, engagement and lesson outcomes
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
• Start Date: September 2025
• Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
• Daily Rate: -120 - -135 per day
• Location: Borough of Islington

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Solid understanding of the Secondary curriculum
• Prior classroom experience is essential
• Degree-qualified with a strong academic background
• Energetic, creative and passionate about working with young people
• A good grasp of teaching standards
• Committed, proactive and eager to develop within an educational setting
