Academics is currently looking to recruit a cover supervisor to work within our client secondary schools across Wallasey and the surrounding areas on a daily supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need it to be!

As a cover supervisor you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.

Main Classroom Supervisor responsibilities:

• Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
• Adhering to school policies and procedures

What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor with Academics:

• Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage the classroom effectively
• Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
