Working closely with teachers and other support staff, your responsibilities will focus on assisting individual students or small groups with learning activities, emotional support, and day-to-day classroom routines. You would need to be able to support children with the range of special educational needs including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), sensory, speech and language impairments and behavioural difficulties. The role involves helping the children to meet their individual learning targets and stay "on task" throughout the school day.
