This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new setting from the very beginning and play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive and inspiring environment for children and young people.This new specialist school will support pupils aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a focus on creating a safe, nurturing and ambitious learning environment, the school''s aim is to help every pupil develop, achieve and reach their full potential.The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. Working closely with the Class Teacher and wider staff team, you will help create a calm, supportive and engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.Your role will include:Supporting pupils with classroom activities and helping them develop new skills.Reinforcing learning and helping children engage with their education.Promoting positive behaviour by understanding and responding to individual needs.Supporting pupils with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and eating where required.Encouraging confidence, independence and personal development.Providing feedback on pupils'' progress, behaviour and wellbeing.Helping to prepare ..... full job details .....
