Teaching Assistant (Class-Based) - Primary / SEN SchoolsLocation: RochdaleAgency: Aspire PeopleContract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent opportunities)Start Date: ASAPAspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work across primary and SEN school settings in Rochdale. This is a class-based role supporting pupils across a range of year groups, with a strong focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs.Teaching Assistant - The Role: Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs) Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver individual support plans Leading small group interventions and offering 1:1 support where required Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion within the classroom Teaching Assistant - Requirements: A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred) Previous experience working in a school-based TA role Strong SEN experience is essential Confidence working across different primary age groups A patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning Teaching Assistant - Desirable: Experience across multiple key stages (EYFS-KS2) Knowledge of behaviour management strategies Team Teach or similar behaviour training (advantageous but not essential) What Aspire People Offer: Access to a variety of primary and ..... full job details .....
