About the Role

A full-time, temporary Class 2 Tipper Driver position is available in Newcastle-under-Lyme, paying £14.00 to £18.05 per hour. This role involves operating HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles for delivering aggregates and completing muckaway and site-to-site haulage operations. Key responsibilities include performing daily vehicle checks, securing loads, and providing professional service on-site. Applicants need a valid Category C licence, a minimum of one year’s Class 2 driving experience, and essential tipper experience. A current CPC and Digital Tacho card are mandatory, alongside a reliable attitude. This is a temporary contract based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Class 2 Tipper Driver
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a busy and growing transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.
Key Responsibilities of this Class 2 / HGV 2 Role:

Operating HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
Delivering and collecting aggregates
Completing muckaway and site-to-site haulage operations
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
Ensuring loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations
Providing excellent customer service when attending sites and deliveries

For this Class 2 Tipper Role, you will need:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
Tipper experience essential
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho card
Reliable and professional attitude

Desirable for this Class 2 Tipper role:

Experience within aggregates, construction, or muckaway sectors
