Class 2 Shunting/Warehouse Assistant

18T & 7.5T Shunter / Warehouse Operative

Shift: 6pm – 3am
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

We are recruiting for a reliable and adaptable 18T & 7.5T Shunter / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established operation in Tottenham. This role offers a varied workload with options depending on your skills and experience. When shunting duties are not required, you will support the warehouse team and may also assist with admin tasks or forklift work.

Key Responsibilities

Shunting Duties

• Moving 18T and 7.5T vehicles safely around the yard
• Ensuring trailers and Vehicles are correctly positioned
• Supporting evening and night operations

• Warehouse Work: General warehouse duties and goods in/out
• Admin Support: Basic administrative tasks (full training provided)
• Forklift Work: If you hold a valid FLT licence, you can operate the forklift as required

• Experience with 18T and/or 7.5T vehicles
• Valid CPC and Tachograph
• Flexible and proactive approach
• Willingness to work across shunting, warehouse, admin, and/or forklift tasks
• Good teamwork and reliability

• £17.50 per hour
• Fixed 6pm – 3am shift
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Training provided for admin duties
