Registered Building Inspector - Minimum Class 2A
Contract: Initial 3 months, likely to extend
Rate: £55 per hour+
Location: Exeter
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Authority Building Control team on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
The council is looking for a minimum Class 2A Registered Building Inspector to support the team with an existing workload of building control applications and inspections.
Key requirements:
·Registered Building Inspector - minimum Class 2A
·Building Control experience within a Local Authority or Approved Inspector environment
·Ability to manage an allocated caseload with minimal supervision
·Experience undertaking site inspections and assessing compliance with Building Regulations
·Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide clear, professional advice to applicants and stakeholders
The rate is £55 per hour+, dependent on experience and registration class.
With registered Building Inspectors continuing to be in high demand, particularly across the interim market, this is a good opportunity to secure an initial 3-month assignment with genuine potential for a longer-term contract.
