The Role of a Class 2 Refuse Driver: As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness of roads and public spaces throughout the borough. Key Responsibilities for the Class 2 Refuse Driver: Drive and operate a Scarab Road Sweeper safely and efficiently. Clean roads, streets, car parks, and other public areas to a high standard. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects. Ensure collected waste is disposed of safely and in accordance with environmental regulations. Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately. Follow all health and safety procedures and road traffic legislation. Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing the client. Requirements for the Class 2 Refuse Driver: To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver position, you must have: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
