Class 2 Hi ab

My client based is a well-established pump and hose company based in DE65, specialising in the supply, delivery, and servicing of industrial pumps, hoses, and associated equipment. They are in need of 2 week holiday cover for a Class 2 Hi ab driver working Monday-Friday paying -17-18 per hour weekly pay

Job Description:

As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of pumps, hoses, and related equipment to customer sites across the region. The role involves both vehicle operation and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane to load/unload equipment
• Deliver and collect pumps and hoses to/from customer locations
• Carry out manual lifting and safe handling of equipment on-site
• Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition
• Maintain accurate delivery records and liaise with the operations team
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional representative of the company

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid HIAB (Lorry Loader) licence/certification
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Experience with manual handling/heavy lifting
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
