About the Role

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for a full-time, temporary role based in Kegworth. The position involves trunking goods across the UK, performing trailer swaps, managing backloads between distribution centres, and completing customer deliveries. Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times between 0500 and 0800. Candidates must hold a valid Class 2 licence for at least one year with 180 days of driving experience, plus a current tacho and DQC card. A proactive approach is essential. The hourly pay ranges from £17 to £22, with weekday rates at £16.20 and enhanced pay for Saturdays.

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work for a growing logistics business who have partnered with a global brand based at East Midlands Gateway. Our client is able to offer Class 2 Drivers regular, year round work consisting off trunking work and customer deliveries.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:
+ Monday to Friday
+ Weekdays - 0500 to 0800 starts

The successful Class 2 Driver will:
+ Have a valid Class 2 License for a minimum of 1 years and 180 days driving experience.
+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card
+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 2 HGV Driver will include:
+ Trunking goods around the UK
+ Trailer swaps and backloads between RDC's / NDC's
+ Customer Deliveries
You will receive:
+ Weekdays - £16.20 per hour
+ Saturdays - £20 per hour
+ Sundays £22 per hour
